No accounts, no tracking for ads

Kitzur AI has no login and no user accounts. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising. You can browse the sefer and read text without submitting anything to us.

What happens when you ask a question

To answer a question, your question text is sent to third-party services that power the search and the answer:

Cohere — converts your question into a search vector and helps rank the most relevant passages.
Pinecone — the vector database that finds the relevant passages of the Kitzur.
Anthropic (Claude) — generates the written answer from the retrieved passages.
Langfuse — records the question and answer so we can monitor quality and improve the system. Feedback you give (👍/👎) is stored here too.

Each of these providers processes the data under its own terms. Please don’t include personal or sensitive information in your questions — you don’t need to, and it isn’t required to get an answer.

Technical data

Like any website, our hosting records standard technical logs. We use your IP address only to apply rate limits (to keep the service available and prevent abuse); it is not used to build a profile of you. We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function, if any.

Retention

Questions and answers may be retained in our observability tooling for quality and abuse prevention. We keep this only as long as useful for those purposes.
